Well, in the US it costs $330 and in the UK it costs £145. The card is made in Germany so try holidaying in Munich next time :D

Good luck with getting a card from KBK!!! I got fed up of sending him emails to buy one, never had a single reply. Bought the Falcon in the end after seeing Jeff's pictures, have to say I'm very impressed.

    Jenz,

So how does a £150 card and free software compare to a £3000 scaler?

I'm not really happy with the quality of my Sky Digital picture. Using DScaler 3.08 currently with a Win TV/Go card.

Would the Falcon card make an appreciable difference? Are there any comparison photos on the web?

    Jeff,

The Falcon doesnt compare. The Rock+ Video Deinterlacing is now almost flawless as is the user interface.

Yes the price is a massive difference but thats effectively what you are paying for to get it exactly right. Of course the WAF is also totally in favour of a dedicated scaler.

    Neil.
