I have a TX-L32S20B TV and recently decided to see if it was worth hooking it up to the Ethernet but when I looked through the User Guide there is no information on it's purpose. I have trial-connected it and verified that it passes the connection tests but what can I do with it now? There doesn't seem to be any way to use it for digital streaming on-demand services such as iPlayer etc.

If on remote there is Viera Cast button the connection should be used for those apps, if not is just to software update.

Hi, thanks for responding. There's no Viera Cast, only Viera Tools and Viera Link. That's disappointing.:(
