Whats the easiest game to get achievements on?

Tons of info in a previous thread here : http://www.avforums.com/forums/xbox-360-games/858112-quick-easy-games-high-gamerpoints.html

I also like to use this site: The Quick 1000s (or close to) - Xbox360Achievements.org

We had an AVF Gamerscore race over xmas. Rules were simple, whoever scores most gamerpoints in a month wins. JPG30 came first with 15,000 and I came second with 12,000. There is an article in this months OXM which claims you can notch 10,000 in a weekend. I had a look at the list and I don't think its that feasible. Sourcing games takes longer then most people realise not to mention actually getting the games beat. Also consider what type of games you enjoy playing. Personally I hate driving games, so if a game is an alleged easy 1000 but in a game you hate I think its a false economy.

Good luck

To get to 10,000 quicly, I would recommend the following

Avatar (5 mins)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (4 hours)
Lost: Via Domus (get a guide for this, as some achievements (about 100pts, I think) are missable) (4 hours)
NBA 2K6 (not the EA one) (1 hour)
NHL 2K6 (not the EA one) (1 hour)
Madden 2006 (2 hours)
Madden 2009 (should be 900+ within an hour) (2-3 hours)
CSI: Hard Evidence (with guide, 3 hours)
FIFA: Road to World Cup ( 2 hours)
FIFA: World Cup (Easy 500pts, not so easy last 500pts, depends on skill levels) (1 hours)
King Kong ( 6 hours)

Bar Madden 2009 (thought I think 2008 is just as easy), those are all fairly old, cheap games, and if you can't get over 10,000 out of that, then you can't get 10,000! Very possible to do that in a weekend, but not much else!

Fight night round 3

Go through the game on easiest setting and you'll still get 1000 GS.

Quite an enjoyable game too.

before the xmas challenge i never would have even bothered with a lot of the games i played, some so - called rubbish games like fantastic four rotss, wall-e, etc, were quite enjoyable, also the madden games i have enjoyed and i didn't think i would.

don't ever play history channel: battle for the pacific though, it's worse than hour of victory, in fact i made sure i didn't get an achievement on it, yes it really is that bad. :D

Yeah, the challenge definitely changed the way I look at games. I think I would genuinely give every game a chance now, even if it wasn't what I would describe as "my type" of game.

For games with easy gamerscore check what ive been playing in the last week. :D

Have got about 4k or so last 9 days havent played that much either.

But an often unrecommended game is NBA Street Homecourt. 810G in bout 6 hours and it is fantastic fun

I found the Lego star wars orginal trilogy/ complete sage, indiana jones and batman easy to get the ach's easy enough and pretty quick with a little help from gamewinners site and some codes:eek:
(the the codes don't affect the ach's in those games)

CSi is really really dull. I got it from lovefilm and i really wouldnt bother unless you really are a points addict. TMNT was actually quite enjoyable!
King kong is a must very very easy.

havent tried any others.

Life's too short to play games that are gashpap for what amounts to virtual willy waving.

Out of interest to the people who have played Lost. Does the game add anything to the actual story or is it in an independent story arc?

Another good laugh is getting the same game and see who can 1K it first. Works really well with "Sandbox" games as you can both attack it from different angles. I had a race to 1K with Just Cause - very under-rated game and both us went in voice chat while playing it, swapping strategies and trying to work out who was actually winning.

Runs paralell to series 1 & 2, you play as another survivor of the crash.

In terms of Sandbox games, Crackdown has some of most fun achievements ever. Getting a car in the lift to get it on the top of the tower to get the double front flip acheivement was fun. The only tedious ones are the orb collectors.

PMSL - I did something similar with a mate to get the stunt rings - he sat in the car while I threw it through them! :rotfl:

Front Flip was easiest in the buggy on the beach.

The easy 1000 gamerscore games for me are:
Avatar - Takes 2 minutes and you don't even need to create a save file.

Check this YouTube clip to see how to do it.

TMNT - Just need to complete the story and that's not too hard and can be done quickly
King Kong - Just need to complete the story, some parts were a little tricky for me but it's easy enough and I liked playing it.
FIFA 06: Road to the World Cup - This was my first 1000. As a football game fan getting most were easy enough but it did take a little time.
Lego Batman - Easy enough to play the only thing would be that I needed to play a lot of levels a few times over (sometimes I had to play the levels 2-3 times) to get everything, but it's straight forward enough.

I've also heard that the other Lego games might have easy achievements too but I can't be sure of this as I have never played them.

To be honest other than Avatar I enjoyed those games and had fun at the time when I was playing them, although I doubt I would play them again.

Most of the Lego games are an Easy 1000, Indy is very easy, SW:TCS is easy but one hell of a grind as there is a load of replaying (hence no 1000 points for me yet as I still cant be arsed to get all the blue canisters), Batman another easy 1000 not that much replaying.

The only exception is SW:OT as this has a load of cheevs for completing every level without dieing and there is 2 or 3 levels that are a complete bitch, I think I still have the AT-AT level and Death Star 2 to do (which I probably never will)

But they really fun to play and still make me chuckle the thrid or forth time into them.
