the gaming one is prettier and appeals more to the style conscious psp owner

also i think it is slightly smaller as some people have reported that the standard one can be a bit a tight fit, so get the cheaper one!

marketing ploy to make more cash, 'gaming' sounds better than standard. There will be no difference in speed at all.

I realise that there won't be any difference in speed, I'm just wondering whether there will be any difference in size, however slight.

i would hope not tobias, they are both duo's, and would be silly in my book to change the size/shape to run the risk of them not fitting, although i cant answer for sure.

    Actually there are different speeds,
i havent seen much info on this yet since i havent done any extensive searches. But i know that 2gb sticks have slow transfer rates, so it isnt very good for quickly uploading data. There was a rumour too that when using customised display settings (technical alterations to use different resolutions to what sony pre-installed) the data isnt fast enough to actually play movies back.
Again i havent got exact details but i know the 2gb isnt worth buying yet due to its slow performance. Apperently sonys is going to be fast.
