    Hi peeps,

I'm moving out and was looking at the AVR3806 to become the hub of my monster home cinema system.

Had a look at the back of this and saw a port to link up the receiver with a pc.

Now what does this link enable? Is it so I can play music from my PC through my surround sound? or is it something to do with firmware upgrades?

It's to connect Denon dvd players that also have Denon Link. It only works for Denon kit, hence the name. Denon Link3 can pass Dolby/DTS, DVD Audio, SACD and PCM (CD's). Saves guffing about with lots of cables.
