The word scam springs to mind.

I see that sort of thing offered on ebay all the time.

    Don't be a sucker!

Thats what i thought. Things that are too good to be true almost certainly are. Wonder why respectable sites(ie this one) are displaying ads for the site?

You may also find that its similar to this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=3697&item=5140102423&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW

Its simply flexi plastic sheets & magnify what is passed through them, the only thing is that you have to encase your tv in a box with the lenses infront of the screen so that it projects on a wall or sheet. Saying that you normally have to have your tv upside down as if the tv is up the right way the projection screen image is upside down. Its effective, but unsightly :)

It's also going to be more or less effective, depending on how high your TV brightness goes. It's basically using it as a projector, which is wasn't designed for, so the brightness could be quite weak.

The Ebay TV ones are a bit dodgy, however the new method of using an old LCD screen is reasonably sound.
