Whats the biggest screen size I can get?

The PJ is 4.15m from the screen (415cm) which is meseared at an angle from the ceiling to the middle of the screen.

I want the biggest 16:9 Image I can get from the distance what PJ do you guys recomend? will the AE700 fit the bill?

It needs to be HDTV ready.

Thanks, Alex.

With PJ's BIG is great but that doesn't always mean BIGGER will be even better. For one thing you are asking the PJ to spread the light output over a wider area hence the image will be less "punchy". But crucially the size of the screen is should be goverened by the distance you sit from the screen. As a rule of thumb you should sit between 1.5-2.0 times the screen width away... but in the end it's all personal preference...PJ

Thanks,

I've been looking at the sanyo Z3, this apears to give me the biggest image from that distance of all the projectors I can find, would this be a good buy?

If you can find one for around £800 yes!...PJ

you wont find a Z3, all sold out, try calling those with 'in stock' on the sites etc. :)

www.projectorcentral.com

click on the calculator pro link on the lower lefthandside.....

choose the make of PJ you thinking of and model, then it will show a chart with sliders, you can choose the distance the PJ is from screen and it will show you the biggest screen size......

but do remember as was said, make sure you are not sitting too close for the size or the image quality will go and so will your eyes...lol....even a PJ can do them damage despite the light source being behind you.....
