I have a Denon AVR-1905 and a Sony KV32FQ86 and am looking for the best way to connect the video signal. Currently my sources go direct via SCART to the TV but I'm thinking of switching them via the AV amp.

The Denon has Component (Y, Pr/Cr, Pb/Cb), Composite and S-Video outputs. The TV can take 'normal' SCART video, S-video and RGB via SCART input. How can I use these to relay the highest possible quality video signal to the TV?

What about RGB/component transcoders? Are they not worth the effort and//or expense?
