I have just bought the following:
    Panasonic TH50PZ70B TV
    Panasonic DMR-EX77B DVD Recorder
    Sony STR-DG910 AV Amplifier
    Sky HD Box

Can anybody advise the best way to connect all this up?
I was thinking of the following:

HDMI from Sky HD to AMP + Optical to Amp for Audio(do I need the Optical or will just the HDMI suffice?)
HDMI from DVD Recorder to AMP + Coaxial for Audio )again, do I need the Coaxial?). Do I also have to run a Scart from the Sky box and in/out of the DVD Recorder to the TV, or will the HDMI lead suffice? I will also be taking the Aerial RF in/out of the DVD Recorder to the TV.

I will then run a HDMI out from the Amp to the TV.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

In both cases run HDMI to the TV (SKY HD HDMI is only stereo)
Run optical or co-ax 5.1 to AV amp. Sky is optical only.
No need to run HDMI via AV amp unless really have to (lack of inputs on TV etc. This also allows you to watch the TV without switching on the AV amp.
