whats the best software to convert dvd to divx

    As title says whats the best and less messy software for me to convert my dvds to divx.

    also is there antway of making them havepictures of dvd front like you get with music cds?

    I like FairUse.

    plonk in a DVD, go through a couple of steps, hit convert, and out comes your two pass xvid with vbr bitrate :)

    Its also got a more advanced section, if you need specifics.

    Well worth the money I paid - not too sure on the free version but i'm sure it'll just have less basics, which is better for you I guess

    I cant firgure how to convert DVD to Divx using divx converts, but will try fairuse tomorrow

    I've just started using this to rip my dvd's to xvid's, it's very easy. Just use dvdshrink to create your vob, then autogk to convert the vob to avi/xvid or divx if you prefer. There's a good guide on afterdawn.com

    Up to number 7 of 300 now :clap:
