whats the best setup

    ive just received my viera pv500 with free dvd recorder DMRES10 but i also have a pioneer 575.

    the problem is which has the best picture output.

    as i dont have space for both and a centre speaker in the cabinet.

    so if the pioneer has the better output i will just have to see how good the speakers are on the pv500 and lose the centre speaker from the setup.

    I would say never loose the centre speaker!

    It is a proven fact that when, comparing picture quality and sound quality, in relation to detecting drop in quality (annoyance), the sound is more detectable.

    This being the case, I would recomend you keep the speaker and run the highest quality signal (RGB, CAV) from the DVD device which would allow you to do so.

    it would be component from either source

    i might just have to splash out on Pioneer VSXC502 but thats just throwing away a good av receiver

    have splashed out and bought a slim centre speaker and the panny vcxc502
    now they all fit in :clap:
