We all download stuff off the net (presumably) and some films whatever are split into 2 either in Divx/xvid/avi or similar....I never bothered to merge these files before and copied them onto disc in 2 parts.
Now I am converting more and more of my Divx films etc to mpeg2 DVD format.....before I burn to a dvd I am sure there must be a good bit of free software that will seamlessly merge the two separated files isnt there??
I have nero at present in case I can do it with this and didnt know ;)

I use a reasonable merging programme for music which is ok'ish so anyone know of a really good one for audio too?? ....thanks for reading :)

I must have tried every program on the planet and the easiest, fastest and really good quality program I have just tried is WINAVI. Its that good that I might even buy it.

    Ha ha!

I've been using DVD Santa with acceptable results. Is it worth me changing to WINAVI?

You can do it with Nero (i do it all the time), assuming you are going to recode them to Mpeg.
Add the two video files you want to burn to disc or a folder in the make DVD-Video Project menu, make sure you load them in order of play.
The two movies parts will show up as two chapters (add more it you want). Then just burn. When you play the completed movie you might notice a very slight jump as the movie changes chapters. But at least it saves the time of running the two movies through another program beforehand.
