Question What's the best placement for ceiling speakers in my kitchen/diner

Hi all,

My kitchen/diner is about 5m x 8m with a dining area across the width at the back and a cooking area along the length. The ceiling height is 2.6m See the attached plan.

What is your recommendation for ceiling speaker placement?

Will 2 speakers do, or will I need 4? And how should I place them given that my dining area is perpendicular to my cooking area?

Are the speakers just for background music listening? If so then maybe a 2 stereo ceiling speakers would do the job with one above the cooking area and one above the dining area.

Yes. But when I'm cooking on my own it won't be so much in the background :)

There is a TV at the bottom end of the room (the other end from the dining area) - but I'm probably going to get a soundbar for that because it's just for occasional viewing.

When you say 2 stereo ceiling speakers, do you mean that each unit is stereo? Like this: CT165-T2
Or do you mean two normal speakers in a stereo configuration?
