    Hi...

I have a Philips 9986 and would like to know what the best connection is to my XS32 for picture and sound.

Any info would be great. I haven't got an amp yet but will get one soon (if this makes any difference).

    Thanks,
    S

    Hi Eyeball

What do you mean mate? Are you asking about Scart or S-video or what is the best cable to use?

    Regards

    The Dude

    The 'Usual Order' is....

    (Best first)

DVI (one for the near future and it's high def variant)
    Componet
    RGB SCART
    S-Video (SCART or mini-din)
    Composite (SCART or phono)

    Thanks Kevo.

My 9986 has a DVI adaptor. Does the Tosh xs32 have a DVI connector?
Sorry, prolly a dum question but thought it's worth a try. Haven't got the tosh yet so don't know what's behind it, but it's on it's way.

    Cheers,
    S

Component is probably going to be the best way hook up the Toshiba RDXS32 with your TV although it depends how good your screen is at handling it. RGB Scart is the second best choice and would be better if you end up having problems with component. Whatever way you connect ensure you buy good quality cables!
