I have a Denon 3802 which has 7.1 outs (ie FL,FR,C,Sub,SurL,SurR,RearL,RearR) - I'm using some old bookshelfs for the side surrounds but they are very directional. Can anyone recommend some better solution? I have B&W CM4,CMC and a REL400 sub at the front and some speakers that came with the TV at the rear.

If you want less directional rear speakers why not have a look at the Mission M7DS bipolar speakers which are available at about £150 per pair. I use them and am very pleased with the sound and they seem to be very popular with other forum members.

What you want is 2 pairs of MK K4 tripoles, at £395 a pair.

    Simple as that.

They have a brilliant sound and because they are tri-polar they are ideal for both films and multichannel music.

    I second Retro's choice ( well i would i have them )

However i only have 1 pair at the moment at the sides. With a view to putting satellites ( plain vanilla ) at the back.

Where can I get MK K4s at £395. I've been looking everywhere and they inly seem to be available through "professional outlets" and then at £495 which is getting a bit pricey for me.

Has anyone tried B&W DS6? Dipoles at £399. Much worse than the MKs?

I like the look of the K4s. I have to mount one side above a door so they have to be quite high up (right under the ceiling actually). Will they need to be angled down to the listening position?

    Thanks in anticipation.

May be a typo on my behalf. I will check the price for you.

    If it is sorry.
