Technical / performance differences, and functional ones?

When did Arcam replace A22 with A32?

    Cheers

The A32 replaced the A22 around Easter last year.

The A32 uses the same software as the A85, and will accept the same 6ch input module. The older A22 will take the old multi-room MARC and DAVE DD/dts module.

The A32 is more detailed and accurate sounding, more operational options, level trimming on inputs etc.

I demoed the A22 extensively against the A85. The A22 sounded a tad better, but it was also more expensive. It also lacked tone controls and other gadgets the A85 had.

I ended up buying the A85, since the A22 was a demo model (and showing it), and the retailer wouldn't give me a satisfactory discount.
