I'm a newbie to this forum so I apologise if this has already been asked, but I could not find it.
It's about 5 years since I last bought a large TV and then I did the research, found a price on the Interweb and ordered it, next day it was delivered. Now I looking to get a 50GT60 or a 50VT65 and everyone seems to be selling them "Click & Collect", what fudging use is that! I want the thing delivered by the store, preferably included in the price quoted! Is there some sort of cartel!

Not sure if it's like loudspeakers but many loudspeaker manufacturers state they wont allow official stockists to offer delivery of their speakers. It's in store collection only. May be the same thing here with TV's since the stores I looked at online offered delivery of things like Blu Ray players, amplifiers etc but not plasma TV's.

I Think its a Panasonic policy. Its used to be that you could only get the free extended warranty by buying in store - this looks like an extension of that.

I think it will actually be reducing sales as a whole.

I believe renaultsport is right based on my experience of looking around
