I have been out of touch for a while,I was looking for a new DVD recorder with a hard disc and maybe HDMI,is there anything around at the moment that meets these requirements?
Also any suggestions on where to buy?

Smallmanongn didn't specify a Freeview digital tuner, so he could explore existing European models eg. Sony RDR-HX910, RDR-HX710 or RDR-HX510 from the likes of Pixmania etc.

My own preference is to wait for the digital tuner version ie. the Sony RDR-HXD910. Does anyone know if this has an on-board analogue tuner as well? I remember reading a post by an HX510 owner who said he could see unused space on the PCB for the digital tuner components.
