Hi all,
Although I always said I wouldnt buy into this 3d milarky, after upgrading my tv it has bugged me how much my 876 is now limiting me.
So purely out of interest at this stage, whats comparible on this day and age which can support 3D?
I need 2x HDMI out, and I want as good audio performance.
Looking at the new Onkyos in theory the 709 meets my requirements, but im also too aware that my 876 was VERY highly thought of at released and retailled around £1200 i believe, where as the 709 is half of that.
Not to mention the weight of my 876 to 23kgs and the newer 708 is 16kg and even 809 is only 18kgs... and Im kind of inclined to thing that the weight loss isnt down to some advancements in technology, but more some more stripped out features.
So, any thoughts? I wouldnt want to downgrade for the sake of 3D, but at the same time I dont want to invest that much in the change of an AVR
