    been reading a few threads and the phrase have used BDF keeps cropping up. Is this a calibration tool for the audio side of things. Anyone any info?

    Do you mean BFD?
    That would be a Behringer Feedback Destroyer and are used to help equalise the room response at low frequencies when using a subwoofer. There's an absolute wealth of information about them on the forums - particularly in the subwoofer section so do a search and have a read. :)
