I've just got a PSP and I'm looking for a decent RPG to while away the commuting hours. RPGs I've enjoyed playing in the past are Zelda, Pokemon (nobody tell me to get a DS :rotfl:) and maybe a bit of final fantasy, but I'm not really in to really stat heavy RPGs.

Any suggestions would be good, cheers.

Perhaps you're thinking more of adventure RPGs then? Thats where I'd put Zelda.

As for RPGs, the PSP is seeing loads of tactics ones pop up:

Final Fantasy - War Of The Lions
    Jeanne D'Arc
    Disgaea

but not alot of trad RPGs barring Valkyrie Profile Lenneth.

There is the upcoming Final Fantasy: Crysis Core... although the mechanic is a bit of a mystery to me. Looks like its got a nice action Star Ocean spin on it.

Oh yeah, the Star Ocean games are getting remade for PSP, so they'll be good.

Nothing that compares to Zelda though. But then again nothing really does.
If you have custom firmware, you could check out a game called Alundra from the PSOne...

Cheers, I haven't tinkered with custom firmware yet, it's still shiny and new and I don't want to break it :))).

I'll have a look at the ones you've mentioned, I sure one of them will sort me out. :smashin:

Take a look at Dungeon Siege: Throne of Agony, too. Not a bad hack n slash rpg, along the lines of Diablo.

Sorry, but I think you've kind of answered your own question.
