what would you recomend?

hi im knew to this forum so i wonder what are your recomendations for a good mp3 player
(yes i checked faq but it wasnt specific with models)

i do have few requirements
-needs to play mp3's (ripped by me off my cds/others)
-needs to play drm protected wmv files(others)
-to play as many other formats as possible(i guess generics play them?)

i prefer hd to flash memory 1 gig +
price not important right now
play time i guess most are over 6 hrs so its fine
would want it to play videos/show pics but not a must

p.s can you flash bios in mp3 players? (ie download a tool + new bios, connect to pc and flash)?
