I recently bought a Toshiba 36ZP46 the Picture Frame 3 for £799 from Currys - it was the last one they had and only just put it on display, but gave it to me nonetheless (they were like goldust and the price had just gone back up to £999!). Anyway had it two weeks and recently discovered that the front AV didn't work, so called an engineer out last week who came and 'okayed' and gave me an exchange number which means I can (if they have stock) get a replacement or a refund (my choice). If you're not familiar with the ZP46 it is a cut down version of the ZP48 - the 46 does not have the surround sound system and is now, according to Toshiba, discontinued. Looking around the web I have found many places do the ZP48 for £899 (some even at £849) So I rang JL up who said they will pricematch at £900. So should i get another zp46 if they have a brand new one or should I get the ZP48 for an xtra hundred quid but which will have a five year warranty, or, should I get a 42" Pannasonic Plasma at £1249! (but needs another £149 for a board to give scart inputs, which I could always get later on). Thing is we're doing the house up and really shouldn't be spending so much! But choices!!
