What would you choose?!

    Hi Folks,

Here's another one of my stupid but hopefully fun little ideas: having just read about an R2 release of 4 of Schwarzenegger's films on DVD (Red Heat, Red Sonja, Raw Deal and Total Recall - odd choices!) on 30th April 2001, I thought about this:-

If you could choose any 3 films to be released on DVD as a box-set, and could include any extras (within reason), but on the condition that the set must be themed or linked in some way, what would you choose.

You couldn't choose, say: "Hallwoeen", "Friday The 13th, Part 5" and "Blood Feast", and call it "The Horror Collection", as that is a cop-out (although DVD companies do do this!)! Also, no trilogies, so films like "Star Wars", etc would be banned! However, you could choose the following: My example is called "Blue Movies", and includes: "Betty Blue: Version Longue" PLUS "Three Colours: Blue" AND "The Blues Brothers" (All linked because of the word Blue being in the title, albeit none of them having the same cast or director, or what-have-you!)

Each title would have the following: a DTS soundtrack, an anamorphic widescreen print, removable English subtitles (where applicable), a Behind-The-Scenes/Making-Of documentary, and interviews with the cast and director, plus an additional booklet, in full colour, with at least 48 pages of info, pictures, and artwork.)

Well, there's my idea! Now what about yours?! I can't wait to hear of some of your ideas. Wacky or tenuous reasons are acceptable, within reason. Anyone who is able to link three different films, purely because they all miraculously have the same Catering firm, or run for exactly 2hrs and 18 minutes each, will be forced to watch "Condorman" non-stop for 24 hours!

    Braveheart, Set it Off, Gladiator

Because I like movies without a Happy End (and in the above movies the hero(s) dies at the end).
