What Tv with 2k to spend?

Thinking of either a 36'' crt or Rear Projection? Like the look of the Tosh Rp 42'' and the 44'' Sony RP, but the pictures look real nice on the 36'' sony and phillips Crt sets.

Any advice would be much appreciated, i'm tired of comet trying to sell me the 42'' samsung rear projection telling me its the best thing since sliced bread yet I can't seem to find much about it on the web!!

agree 100% Now the Plasma has started to fall in price I think Rear Projection sals will suffer
