Hi I don't want sky HD yet
as I am happy with my Sky+
and other SD pictures
on my Samsung LE32R51BD
But I hope to get sky HD over xmas.
If they will be doing any offers then.
What do you think sky HD will be like on this TV?
Until Sky HD is launched no one really know how good any TV will look with Sky HD. Your TV gets great ratings though for HD viewing so should be as good as any other 32 inch HD ready set.
Of course HD will be more noticeable on larger sets but you should see some benefit on 32 inch sets
Got a Panny PWD6. not sure if Sky HD will run on this. Anyone know? If not I will probably buy myself a PHD8, buit I dont want to upgrade if I dont have to as all Hi-Def stuff I have run through it look amazong and I couldnt really see much of an improvement on my PWD6
Toshiba 42WLT58. I'm having trouble with that, so I might try to replace it with the new not yet released 42WLT66 1080p
You should not have any problems via component. Sky have confirmed that their HD channels will not be using HDCP. Other broadcaster may do when they launch channels and maybe the box office channels to? Ive heard its enabled on the T-Drive with regard to pay movies
Test the non finished Sky HD clips on your TV by your PC's.
Will be watching HD on my Pioneer 434.
pana 50phd8.....and can't wait
Sky HD Sample Clips, running from my PC to my HDTV by DVI
- Rugby 1 HD Sample with a slight flash from my Dads spare digi cam.
- Rugby 1 HD Sample again with an even smaller slight flash from my Dads spare digi cam.
Ok I post more pics up later on buds. Shame my Dads spare digi cam cannot show that they look better then they do in the photos.
Hitachi 42PD7200 here
Tosh 37WLT58 here too... must be a close call between that and the pioneer XDE!
A LOT better than the awful SD picture
True true, anyone else want to show some sample clips on there TV.
It's very tough, I tried taking a few pics of my screen and it wasn't until a mate brought roung his D-SLR that any of them began to do justice to the screen.
I,m hoping to get a DSLR by June or July mate.
