    Hi All,

I am struggling to decide out of the Samsung UE46C8000 or Sony 46HX803, I have viewed a couple of sets in Sony centre and Comet and impressed with both and read reviews too but just cant decide what to go for.

Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks :)

    Andrew

Likely to be used for all of the above but primarily SD, Sport and games with the occasional film.

    Dear >AndyUK84<,

My name’s Andy and I’m from Comet.

Upon comparing the specifications of these two models although very similar, there are certain differences which I have noticed between the two. The Samsung model includes a few additional features which are not included with the Sony TV, such as, the CI slot for top up TV cards which can be purchased for channels like ESPN for example, the TV also has the ability to connect to a computer and be used as a monitor, and finally this TV also has the capability of recording directly to USB devices which are connected to the TV’s USB port.
Both TV’s do however feature the same basic technologies such as Freeview HD tuners, Edge LED technology, and frame rate, so in terms of the uses that you have specified both TV’s would be suitable for your needs.

I hope that this information can be of help to you in making your decision.

    Kind regards,

    Andy
