What TV for my PS5?

I currently have my PS5 in the living room with my 55inch LG OLED (it’s about 4 years old I’m not sure of the exact model).

I am planning on moving it to my loft room and purchasing a new tv to wall mount. I think I have narrowed it down to an LG CX (due to 120hz for gaming etc). I will be sitting roughly 6ft away from the tv and I’m not sure whether I should get the 55 or 48 inch? 55 will look big for the room so 48 feels more sensible, but I don’t want to buy too small and regret later. Any advice?

the CX is a 2020 model, so it'll almost be 2 years old if you get one.

the C1 is the 2021 model, so maybe that one would be a better consideration.

as for size, there is a calculation you can use to determine what size is more appropriate based on distance sitting from it.

Thanks for this. I was wondering if placement makes any difference when the use case is mainly for console gaming? Is the C1 worth the extra money?

I have a 55 nanocell866na and that is fantastic, the HDMI 2.1 really does make a difference compared to HDMI 2.0
