Hi,

Am in the process of putting some cables in the walls/ceilings etc.. and it's often suggested to run some pull through cables, just in case they're needed later.

What's best to use that won't snap?

Thanks

Basically anything.

If your pulling it hard enough to snap any cable then you’re unlikely to be able to pull any other cable through..........

I tend to use some old cat5 that I have laying around.

Builders tend to use thin nylon rope, usally 4 or 6mm its almost impossible to snap. You can buy from most places, like toolstation or screwfix

You're probably sorted now , but I used a combination of rods , a magnet , a washer and dental floss. Was amazed at how much room there was behind the plaster board in a new build
