    ...
    I'm torn between the
    Toshiba 36ZT29B
    Philips 36-PW9607
    and the Panasonic TX36PB50.
If there is a 36" TV available that is better than all of these(excluding B+O) I would be grateful if anybody could tell me.
    Any help will be appreciated.

    Matt8594,

    Toshiba 36ZT29B
    Philips 36-PW9607
    Panasonic TX36PB50
    Sony 36FS76

are all very good TV sets. Every model has its pros and cons. It really depends what you are looking for.

Do you need it to watch Sky? DVD? Digital FTA? Analog? Has you DVD player component out? Is sound important? ...?

Perhaps you should be a little bit more specific. ;)

It's mainly picture quality that I need an opinion on.
I'm going to be using it for DVDs, Sky and occasionaly video games.
My last TV was a Sony and so are pretty much all of my entertainment appliances, so I was looking for a change.

    Matt8594,

    Unfortuatelly not specific enough :)

From a forum you get what you put in. Do details, no answers :D

I would be nice to know the model of DVD player you have if it is has NTSC progressive output, if it has components output, ...

Do you have an home cinema system? Is sound important?

Picture wise I think they are more or less on the same level. Personally I like the Sony 36FS76 but it is just my opinion. I would suggest you to have a demo.
