What to do....

Current Setup...

Budget 2500 - 5000.

Yamaha Dsp-A1
B&W CDM7 SE Mains + matching Centre
Infinity rs5000 rears.
SVS Pc+ 20-39

So what do I do?

Upgrade just the rears?
Upgrade the Amp?
Move CDM's to rear & get new Mains? If so, bookshelves as I have the sub?


So many choices.

Any suggestions?

well the 3rd option is a no go, i think your amp as it is is probably not doing the B&W's full justice, moving to rears and this will become even more obvious.

I would upgrade the amp then rear speakers later. But as has been shown elsewhere, not everyone agrees with my ideas on having a strong amp.

The DSP-A1's not a strong amp ??

maybe the best way would be find a decent dealer who will lend you a new amp and rears and you can play with the alternatives.

its not a weakling, but we are talking about a fairly high end set of speakers here. They would benefit from alot more in the amp stakes.
