What to choose when focus is network audio?

Hi,

Currently I have a SqueezeBox with a Cambridge DacMagic. However instead I would really like to get myself a new AV amp/rec that can play from the network. But how good are the models on the market today? Can I obtain the same quality with an expensive AV reciever for example?

In my country I have come across the Denon AVR-3310, AVR-3808A and AVR-4310 which all have the ability to play FLAC from my nas/server. But how good are they compared to the SB+DacMagic you think? I ask because I have to travel quite a bit to hear these amps - so I wanted to collect some thoughts first...

Are there alternatives that should be examined?

bad news there dude- youve got one of the best network setups there is already.
imo you wont beat the sb/magic into a power amp combo at any price using a pre/pro or reciever. :smashin:
