Hi I'm going to buy a projector in the next month or 2, my budget is €3000. I have been looking at the Sony HTS1 or the Panasonic AE-100 or the Sharp XV-Z90E .

One question is which is the best of these 3 or is there a better projector available with my budget.

My next question is where can I get this projector in Ireland.

All help is greatly appreciated thats for your help.

You could import the Sony HS10 from Pricejapan for less than €3000.

I demoed the Panasonic and thought it quite good for the money but could see the gate effect quite clearly. I then saw the Sanyo Z1 and thought that this was better but could still see the gate effect from the LCD. The demonstartor then showed me the Sharp XV-Z90E which I hadn't even heard of. It was £2500 but clearly worth the extra. Even my wife said "That's the one!". We bought it from www.a-v.com for £1950.

We have had it at home for just over a month now and it is fantastic!
