    Supposed to chose?

I'm trying to capture using my Black Gold Card and Windows Movie Maker. In Camera Settings I can choose from the following:

    PAL_B, D, G, H, I, M and N

I'm using D at the moment. Is this the correct one for the UK?

Whilst on the subject of Windows Movie Maker: Why can't I capture at the top res of 720x576 and which "Colour Space/Compression" should I chose:

    RGB 555
    RGB 24
    YUY2
    YVU9
    l420

    Thanks

    Dave

Dave I can only help with the first question. Uk uses "PAL I" many of these standards differ only at the RF level ( displacement of audio carrier from the video carrier etc). So, if you are inputting separate audio and video signals many of these settings won't matter. Sorry I am not familiar with the Black Gold card or movie maker.
