What tablet?

With the upcoming school holidays and a few long trips by car we've decided to get a coupe of tablets for the kids. I'm just about set on a decent budget Ainol tablet (probably the Elf2) but the upcoming release of the google 7 has thrown a bit of a spanner in the works.
Is the Google 7 going to be a lot better than the Ainol or would the Ainol do the job? - sufing the web, films/music on the go etc

Elf2 is good for the money but the nexus is a far superior spec and worth that bit extra.

For the kids though, I'd go with the Elf2 as it has an SD slot. Even if it's not as polished straight out the box. Load it up with a ton of films, tv and games. They'll never bother you again.
