Hi all, Im looking at setting up a home cinema and have started looking at my components, Im planning on a sony STRDB1080S AMP with a pair of Warfedale EVO 30 front Speakers. What surround speakers would be suited. Also should i use the same center for the rear center as suggested by the shop.

The Evo 3's are superb speakers. If you can afford it get the evo 1's as they are fantastic as front main speakers let alone rear duties. If they are above your price range look at the Eltax HT2 bipolars. I use them and love them.

Use another of the same speaker as your rear speaker as you use for your surrounds. Dont use a centre as it is designed for dialogue and the rears dont do dialogue. Also most centres dont have a very good bass response compared to normal speakers.
