Good. Questions, rooms only 20sqm
Happy to have ported or sealed
As for the budget that's a good question, maybe £500ish

If you got the room get a BK monolith.
My sub needs are fulfilled by mine and I have a large living room.

With a £500 budget I would get a Monoprice Monolith 10" THX. Certified by THX as 115dB reference capable down to 20Hz in rooms up to 2,000Ft3.

Better than the Rel HT/1003? Both go down to 20hz

Much better. Different league in fact.

REL is not rated to 20Hz. Per their respective websites the Mono 10” THX‘s low end extension is 18Hz at -6dB, the REL HT/1003 is 24Hz at -6dB. That’s a huge difference.

But frequency response specs actually mean very little unless they are backed up with clean output at the SPL levels required at those frequencies. The Mono 10” has a far more powerful 500W amp, THX certification and independently measured CEA-2010 output which means you know exactly the level of performance you’re buying.

At £500 it’s a solid buy.
