What spec tv to buy

Hi, looking to buy a new tv but getting lost with all tech speak. Should I buy OLED or is it overkill for my set up.

I have sky Q with the HD package, I watch mainly tv series but I do watch a lot of football.

With this set up am I going overboard spending 1.3k on a OLED tv or should I stick with a good spec led tv?

Any help would be much appreciated.

You can get the LG A1 which is a lower end OLED TV, good option for watching sport. As would be the Sony X90J.

Main reason to spend more on a TV now is with HDR, so if you plan on using the TV for streaming rather than watching Sky in HD, that's when you'd want to spend more.
