Hi, I was wondering of anyone can suggest a good set of 5.1 speakers to compliment the Onkyo TX-SR705. I have a budget of aprox £350 and am looking for something discrete to wall mount. I had been looking at the very popular Jamo A102s but would these be capable enough for the 705? I look forward to reading any suggections. Thanks.. Ps.. Probably the best website on the net!!
You won't be getting anywhere near to the best from your amp with speakers in that price range! IMHO you should up your budget or get a 505 amp. I tested Kef3005se and Monitor Audio BR5AV packages and the MA's were far better and can be had from Sevenoaks in their sale for 25% off! I also tested the 605 against the 805 and there was no camparison, the 805 is far superior.
