What size TV for screen 2.8m from seat?

I just wanted some advice. I currently have a 49 inch Sony LED TV and looking to upgrade to an OLED. I sit 2.8m from the screen. So would a 65 inch TV be suitable?

Yes, at 2.8m you're beyond optimal for HD material on a 65". For UHD you'd be looking at projector size displays to get benefits from the extra detail.

Luckily there are benefits to watching new material on a TV outside of resolution, so whilst you won't see that much extra detail from resolution. You'll see benefits from OLED technology, together with better colours and contrast if you're watching a HDR source.

I should have mentioned that my current TV is 4K but only has HDR10. No Dolby Vision, HLG etc.
Will I get a big improvement with an OLED? Is Dolby Vision better than HDR10?
