I am just about to install tom tom on my XDA2S and understand the maps should go on a SD disc?
What size does this need to be ? I will not be using the disc for anything else just the maps

Also..........(forgot to mention!)..........I need a car mount for this and was put off buy some cheap looking ones. I have found one built for XDA2S on ebay for £40 but it is not amplified. In real terms do you need it amplified to be able to use ?

Maps will fit on a 128mb card, but as prices are so low I would get a 256 card for extra storage for other programs.

You only need an amplified holder if you like your music loud, or have an otherwise noisey vehicle
