Use to have a 21" Sun Microsystems (Sony Trinitron) monitor but I now use a rather lovely 18" TFT :D Couldn't go back to a CRT now as the desk space I've reclaimed is huge. With TFT's coming down in price the way they are and the refresh rates getting higher I think the small to mid size CRT market (under 19") will soon be no more.

    Cheers

I use a 15"...but it is flatscreen. No room for anything bigger, perhaps a 17" LCD but that's about it.

21" cheapish CRT on my desk because I like to run at 1280*1024 which my previous 19 was mever happy with although my 15" laptop copes easily? My conclusion is probably that quality matters more than size, ie a 19" sony for exampple would be better than a cheap 21" no brand. I'll probably go for 2*17" TFT next time around, 1280*1024 on both screens and more desktop.

I've got an iiyama Vision Master 1451 19" CRT at the moment, going for a good 22" next time though. Still be CRT and hopefully a widescreen one.

I think Sony did one or two. You can certainly get 15, 17 and 22" widescreen LCD's.

Im on 17 inch....... its only an hcpc after all! The only need for a monitor is fiddling. Id probably like to go 19 inch if i was going to be using a machine alot..... 21 or 22 would just be enormous!

I use a pair of whoppers! Dual 22" Iiyamas each at 1600x1200@85Hz, and yes I'm very happy.

P.S. It not really an hcpc, its my home workstation.

Hey, there's no 92" option in that poll :D

    Browsing now @ 1366x768 @ 56Hz on a 92" diagonal.

Well it IS a monitor isn't it?

    :p

Mine's a laptop generally, so just 14.1", but hey, I know what to do with it, and like Kramer, it's just your starter for 10. If you sneer at my size, I'll get the big one going, and it's bigger than Kramer's!

There's no option for twin monitors :(

I run a 17" and a 15" Sony from to graphics cards in the same PC. This allows me to use the 17" on the AGP card for most of the work and then have something like OE or IE or my FTP program running on the 15. depending on what I'm doing.

A friend saw my setup a few months ago and couldn't see the point. Having since used the setup a few times he has now asked me to set up a second monitor on his pc too.

I've got a Visiomaster 17" that must be over 10 years old now...still manages good res and refresh!
Having said that, it really hasn't got much use in the last month since I got a high res 42" plasma...(apart from lugging into the 'machine room' to debug a hardware failure...

2 x Sony 21 inch Trintrons on my workstation and a 22inch Mitsubishi on my home PC. Really fancy a pair of Apple 23 in TFT's but cannot talk the boss into them....yet!

I use a laptop, but when I am working from my home-office it goes into a docking bay. This is connected to an "Image Vision" 21" monitor - a rebadged Hitachi CM8113ETPlus.
2nd user bargain from a friend's local PC-building business and a snip about 14 months ago at £200. It had hardly been used by the previous owner.
A handy feature is that it has 2 VGA ports so I can switch between the (docked) laptop and my desktop PC at the push of a button on the monitor.

    Chris Muriel, Manchester.

I'd really fancy that Sony FW900 24" widescreen...

It must be great to be able to see 2 A4 sized documents at the same time...
Wonder if anybody has one for sale at a cheap price?...;)
    Or maybe a Sony W900?...
