I'm at home tomorrow and I intend to be sitting on the sofa avec Guiness and Nachos from as early as 7:30 AM. Now my DVD "to do" pile is getting a little top heavy, so I thought this would be a good oppurtunity to start clearing it. But, I'm now confronted with the agony of choice, so may be a few opinions from you guys can stear me in the right direction.

On the short list is Mr Cruise in "Dances with Samurai AKA I Was A Teenage Shogun" etc. Does it contain loads on slicing and dicing?

Or should I go retro and start wading through the "Airport Terminal Pack" with all those treefeller collars and big hair styles?

Or I have a Italian copy of "Killer Fish" with 70's mega star Lee Majors and some funky rubber piranha's?

If all else fails I can dip my toe into the unpromising waters of "Starship Troopers 2", who's only saving grace seems to be the inclusion of thespian deity and premier slap head, Ed Lauter.

What do you think. Regardless of viewing material I have some export strength Guiness, which is never a bad thing.

Airport would be my choice in your position :).

And your position is indeed enviable as I haven't been able to drink guiness for years :( I expand exponentially if I do.

Second that. Watch the comedy for breakfast, leaving the guns and swords for the afternoon/evening sessions.

Just don't forget the Rennies/Gaviscon when the Nachos bite back around 3 pm. :(

always one to buck the trend.... gotta be Killer Fish. You and me both know that, Xusia.

If it was me, I'd want to see Tony Franciosa(I think it's him iirc)turn the water red before noon.

Killer Fish is titled "Agguato Sul Fondo" on the DVD that I recently purchased. I believe this translates as "Ambush On The Bottom", which makes it sound like a entirely different sort of film altogether (I could make an Airplane gag there, but I won't).

I just made the mistake of renting 'Starship Troopers 2' this afternoon as I loved the first one.

It is truly dire (I had to almost force myself to get to the end) so I urge you not to make the same mistake.
