Can anyone tell me what settings they have this TV set at, pls
I take it you mean contrast, colour, brightness etc.
If you are going to use replies as a yardstick then I don't think it's such a good idea, as you would get so many diverse settings from the replies because it's all down to personal taste, as well as YOUR eyes normal vision and colour vision.
Just set them to what suits you, nobody else.
Do yourself a favour and buy the Avia home theater calibration DVD. It will give you accurate contrast/brightness/colour/tint/sharpness levels and will improve your picture very much. I have the 43VJ13P Tosh and my settings are -
Contrast = 35
Brightness = 38
Colour = 46
Tint = -12
Sharpness = -22
That should be a rough guide to go by, but every tv differs so these settings might not be as good for you. Best thing to do is buy the Avia disc, you won't regret it.
thanks will do, thing is i live in UK, anywhere that sells it in the UK

I bought my RPTV from them, unfortunately it developed a fault but they chased it up and were fantastic, they sent a new TV out immediately. They should have the 42" wide for about £1300 inclusive of next day overnight delivery. Give em a call and see what they say.
Btw, I live in the UK too.
Also i have a few probs
1) When doing the convergence, i found that there was a slight green tinge on 1 or 2 of the crosses, how do i get rid of this?
2) When i put my ps2 throught the front AV socket ( composite ) it didnt fit the screen properly. I put the TV and PS2 to 16:9 but it still was several inches off.
3) When watching TV through an RGB with the On Digital set to RGB and 16:9 out, the pic doesnt fill the screen on the left, curved on the right on overshoots on the top.
Help would really appreciated as this is my first RPTV
