I recently bought a dd5.1 amp and speaker package and use it mostly for watching TV and DVD's.
My question is what setting should it be set to when listening to music CD's. I have choices such as surround, stereo, club, hall, theatre etc.
Is this a stupid question it is just that some of the setting just sound crap i.e. stadium.

Go for which one you prefer! Try them all out and decide.
Me personally? Either plain vanilla flavoured Stereo of DPL2 in Music selection.

    Hope this helps.

Whichever you prefer. However DSP modes such as these usually add noise to the signal, also stereo music sources are designed to be listened to in, well - stereo.

But if DSP floats your boat then go with it.
