Just wondering how this measures up with the averages. In the UK the average screen size as of 2014 is 34", but AVF members aren't the "average" buyers!!!

55" W905. I sit approx 14ft away for general viewing and about 7 ft away when gaming or watching a decent movie.

55" about 6 - 7 feet. edit in Oz so different averages here. Also bedroom is 40" about 7-8 feet (should have gone bigger:) ) and family room 46" and kids watch from about 6 feet

50" from around 12ft.
But thinking of moving it to the loft and sitting around 8ft, as a big screen is a bit chavy looking in the living room imho.
