It's now well-established that certain Loewe TVs, if fitted with the optional VGA upgrade, can be made to synch at resolutions of anything up to 1024x576 progressive at 50Hz (perfect for anamorphic PAL), albeit only using an HTPC as a source. I note that the latest version of the Aconda uses a chassis called "MediaPlus HD" and is also described as having "an HD tube". Does anyone know if this means they can be driven at a resolution higher than 1024x576 via VGA? Edit: Rats, sorry, this should have been posted in the Televisions forum, not the High Definition forum. If any moderators are passing, could they transplant it...?
