    Someone please offer some advice.

Would I be best to buy a pronto or spend the extra on the marantz 5200?

Is it worth the extra cash in comparrison though.

The cheapest i`ve seen the marantz for is about 300 but the pronto is 100?

Well, I sold my Pronto and bought this- http://www.signals.demon.co.uk/IRQprel.htm

I love it and wouldn't trade it for the world.

    Much easier to set up.
works on a Windows style Wizard.
99% of the operations done via the hard buttons and scroll wheel.
Touchscreen will do the rest when needed.
    Nice chunky feel.
Forget what people say about it on remote central. Just picky, fussy people.

    Only £195! Bargain.;)

    Extra link at- http://www.madrigal.com/IRIQ.htm

I got me a Pronto from RS (£99) a couple of weeks ago and it's fantastic . I was a little bit wary at first about using pronto edit ,mainly cause of what i had heard about it but i found it quite easy to get on with. If you have'nt already go to www.remotecentral.com and download pronto edit - load in someone elses ccf and have a play around ,there's an emulator so you can get a good idea of what the remote can do.
On the minus side it could do with a few more hard buttons ,i think the newer pronto (not the neo) will have more hard buttons , looks nicer than RU940 too ,i don't think it's for sale over here yet though.
