i would really appreciate some reconmendations based on the following equipment:

samsung ps50q7hd
CA 540R v2
Sky+ (amstrad)
samsung 870 dvd

also i have two wireless plug sockets adpaters connected to two table lamps, if i could get one to work with these also, it would be great ...

also the main light to the room is a 1 gang 1 way dimmer, is it poosible to control this remotely as well? (obviously with a new switch)

ANy remote will do AV kit, HArmony etc with plugs its unlikely but you can get Z-wave devices compatile with some harmonies or IR lights
