I recently got 2 pairs (4 speakers in total) of Sony Shake X-10 speakers for free, however both of the receivers that come with the speakers are non-functional, I am planning to use all four of the speakers and connect them to a single receiver and potentially combined with a subwoofer. However Sony, for this particular product, have the speakers wired into the sealed box, since I don't want to open the seal, how do I find out the negative and positives(not the traditional red and black wiring)? From the Spec Sheet "With 4 ohm loads, both channels driven, from 150 Hz – 20,000 Hz; rated 80 watts per channel minimum RMS power, with no more than 0.7% total harmonic distortion from 250 milliwatts to rated output." What kind of receiver should I look into buying?
